Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. In plain words, with no fine print hiding anywhere.

The short version
You can use most of Play Ads Maker without an account, and without giving us anything. If you do sign up, we keep your email, your projects and the files you upload — because that is what saving your work means. We do not sell any of it, we do not run ad trackers on this site, and we do not look at your projects except when you ask us to help with one.
What we collect
When you create an account. Your email address and name. If you sign up with a password we store a hashed version of it, never the password itself. If you sign in with Google, we get your email, name and profile picture from Google — we never see your Google password.
When you use the editor. The projects you save, and the images, audio and video you upload into them. These sit in your account and belong to you.
When you are signed in. A session record that includes your IP address and browser user agent. It is what keeps you signed in and lets us spot a session being used from somewhere it should not be.
When you email us. Whatever you write, and your address so we can reply.
What we do not collect
We do not run analytics, advertising pixels or third-party tracking scripts on this site. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, nothing building a profile of you across other websites.
We never ask for card details. There is nothing to pay for yet, so there is no payment data to hold.
The ads you export do not phone home to us. An exported file is yours — it contains your creative and the network’s required code, and nothing that reports back here.
Why we hold it
- To run your account — signing you in, keeping you signed in, and showing you your own projects and nobody else’s.
- To save your work — a project you can come back to next week is a project we had to store.
- To answer you — when you write in about a bug or an export a network rejected.
- To keep the service standing up — spotting abuse, stopping one account from filling the disk, and working out why something broke.
Who else sees it
Nobody buys it from us, because we do not sell it. A small number of companies handle parts of the service on our behalf and see only what they need to do their job:
- Our hosting provider, which runs the servers your account and files sit on.
- Google, if and only if you choose to sign in with a Google account.
Beyond that, we would only hand something over if the law required it — a valid court order, for example — or if the business changed hands, in which case you would be told before anything moved.
How long we keep it
Your projects and files stay until you delete them or close your account. Sign-in sessions expire after thirty days of not being used. Emails you send us are kept while the conversation is useful and cleared out afterwards.
Delete your account and we delete your projects, your uploads and your account record. Backups can hold a copy for a short while after that before they roll over.
Keeping it safe
Traffic to the site is encrypted. Passwords are hashed, never stored in a readable form. Uploaded files sit outside the public web root and are served only to the account that owns them. Access to the database is limited to the people who keep the service running.
None of that is a promise nothing can ever go wrong — no honest service makes that promise. If something does go wrong in a way that affects your data, we will tell you.
Your choices
You can, at any time:
- Ask what we hold about you, and get a copy of it.
- Correct anything wrong.
- Delete your account and everything in it.
- Export your projects as .pam files and take them elsewhere.
- Withdraw consent for anything you agreed to, going forward.
Write to us and we will act on it within thirty days. We may need to confirm it is really you first, which is protection for you rather than an obstacle.
Children
Play Ads Maker is a tool for people making advertising, and is not meant for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child. If you believe a child has given us data, tell us and we will remove it.
Where your data lives
Our servers may sit in a different country from you. Wherever they are, the same rules in this policy apply to your data.
Changes to this policy
When we change something here we update the date at the top. If a change actually affects you — a new kind of data, a new company seeing it — we will say so on the site rather than hoping you check.
Questions about any of this, or a request about your own data, go to support@playadsmaker.com.
