Copyright Policy
How to tell us that something here uses your work without permission, and what we do about it.

How this works
People upload their own images, audio and video into Play Ads Maker to build ads. Occasionally somebody uploads something they had no right to. We take that seriously and we remove infringing material when we are told about it properly.
Note that projects here are private to their owner by default — most of what people build is never publicly visible. If you have found your work in an ad that is running somewhere, the network showing it will usually act faster than we can, since the file is already out of our hands.
Reporting infringement
Write to us with the subject line “Copyright notice” and include:
- Your name, address and email, so we can reach you.
- What the work is, and where the original can be seen — a link, a registration number, or a copy attached.
- Where the infringing material is on our service, precisely enough that we can actually find it.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law.
- A statement that the information you have given is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
- Your signature — typing your full name is fine.
A notice missing these pieces is one we cannot act on, so we will come back to you asking for the rest rather than ignoring it.
What we do next
- We look at the notice, usually within a few working days.
- If it holds up, we remove or disable access to the material.
- We tell the person who uploaded it what happened and why, and pass on your notice.
- They can reply with a counter-notice if they believe it was a mistake.
If your content was removed by mistake
Send us a counter-notice with your contact details, what was removed and where it was, and a statement — under penalty of perjury where that applies — that you believe in good faith it was taken down in error or misidentified. Say also that you accept the jurisdiction of the courts covering your address.
We pass the counter-notice to whoever complained. If they do not go to court within a reasonable period, we may restore the material.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that keep drawing valid notices get closed. That is not a threshold we count publicly, but it is a real one.
False claims
Sending a notice about material you do not hold the rights to, or that you know is not infringing, can make you liable for the costs it causes. Please be sure before you send one.
Trademarks
If your trademark rather than your copyright is the problem — a logo used to imply an endorsement, say — write to the same address and explain what the mark is and where it is registered. Ad network names used on this site are described in the disclaimer.
Send copyright and trademark notices to legal@playadsmaker.com.
